Ranchmans was the name given to our bulk treats arm of the Fond Foods business. We've recently changed our company name to Superior Pet Food Co. - nothing else has changed though! We still manufacture bulk dog treats, and are 100% NZ owned and operated. We specialise in producing high quality premium dog rolls - Superior Chunky, Possyum and Ranchmans and 100% natural air dried chews and treats for dogs.
Ranchmans was based in Carterton from 1999 to October 2019. The Ranchmans business moved to our primary production site in Paeroa in 2019. To join the wider business in a prupose build facility designed to meet our growing demand.
This site operates under a full MPI licensed Risk Management Programme.
The team here at Superior Pet Food Co. high quality export and domestic dried dog treats for a number of different markets as well as our Chunky, Possyum and Field and Forest dog foods. Our retail range found domestically here in New Zealand are the Superior Chunky and Possyum Supreme treats - this includes Beef Chews, Lamb Waffle Bites, Beef Liver and Possyum Sticks.
We also produce bulk treats for wholesale customers and a significant portion of our premium NZ products are exported to the USA and Japan.
